It’s always been strange talking about myself, because if you’ve ever met me
you’d know that I love long coffee talks and asking deep and honest questions.

My husband Steve always teases me by saying, “Hi, I’m Britt, whats your favorite color?!”

And I guess that’s pretty accurate.

I am captivated by everyone’s unique story.
Do you ever have moments driving in your car, looking at the blurred faces driving past
and sense the overwhelming wonder of
where everyone else is going?
Where they have come from?
What they’re listening to?
How they are feeling?

Maybe thats just me.

And maybe that’s why photography and videography captivate me.

The more I capture, the more I see the unique bonds between unique individuals.
It’s something so special and one-of-a-kind that it can never be replicated.
Somehow I get the intimate honor of submerging myself into that special space –
where silliness, seriousness, unconditional love and aliveness
flood my lenses and I then get to share my undercover discoveries
in hopes to inspire others.

Steve and I have been married for 7 years
One of those years we quit our jobs, sold everything and traveled the world.
So far we have visited 30 different countries!
Our next dream is to buy and remodel a camper van and in a couple of years
take our Bernese Mountain Dog “Indy” with us on a road trip down to South America!
My passion is to tell the stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things.
to make them feel seen, loved, and encouraged,
and to hopefully inspire others to join them in their quest,
or have the courage to take the leap into their own lifelong dreams and passions!

Everyone has a different pregnancy story and I would love to tell yours! While we wait with growing ANTicipation (*ahem* note the cute little ant with a flower crown) for “The Big Day” there are still plenty of memories to be captured during your nine month journey! Not only do I aim to capture memories for your own keepsake and for sharing with friends and family, but it can be incredible down the road to share personal messages and videos to your child for your child!

Individual sessions start at $199 (unless otherwise stated) or can be bundled-with-joy for a special discounted price.

Ideas include words of encouragement for their future, reading a letter to them, stories about their pregnancy, predictions for their future, praying over them, etc.

The nine months of waiting are over! The day has come! Capture the story of your unique and incredibly life changing moment of bringing your precious little one into the world! We document our biggest moments like getting married, why not document you and your child’s biggest moment? With all of the emotions and excitement of experiencing our biggest moments, sometimes the little things can get blurred in our memory. My passion is to free up those around you to be fully in the moment with you (and not fumbling with a camera). As your support team, an iPhone or a camera can create a disconnect with the moment and with you. I fully believe that moments are better not viewed through a screen. My goal is to not be intrusive while tiptoe with you through your journey like a ninja in a noodle-shop quietly documenting the little moments and the big moments.
I created The Whole KITTEN-kaboodle Package to fully encompass your story. Starting at $1200 the full package includes:

-on call coverage from 2 weeks before through two weeks after your due date
-unlimited photo and video coverage of pre-labor, active labor, and 1-2 hours after the baby is born

Everyone is different and I want to cater to your comfort and desires. Thats why I created The WHALE Hello There Package. Call me over after you have had some time to settle down, clean up and bond with your little one and we’ll take some special photos– be it in your own home or in a birthing facility. Starting at $399, Photo/video moments can include but aren’t limited to different family members meeting the newest addition, bonding time, nursing, and birth announcements.

This package includes:
-1-2 hour Photo/video session within the first two days of birth
Session limited to only during daytime hours (I utilize natural light for my work)
-70+ still photos
-3-5 minute video (downloadable & sharable youtube link)
-Custom Facebook/Instagram birth announcement

Things are changing every day! First smile, first laugh, first bite of solid food, first up-chuck of solid food, first step, first birthday, first day of school, last day of school (okay, okay, don’t cry, we won’t speak of that day again!). We love to see our loved ones growing and learning but it seems like we are always saying “it seemed like just yesterday that…”

There is a terrible epidemic sweeping the nation called special-moment-amnesia (SMA). Protect your family from SMA by allowing me to capture forever your most special moments so that they will never be infected with SMA! This is serious stuff guys : )

Some of my favorite moments that I have captured started as ordinary moments but like a delicious bottle of wine (You know, the one thats just so good that you justify pumping&dumping two nights in a row?) gets better over time. The ordinary moment becomes extraordinary weeks or years down the road when you look back and say “it seemed like just yesterday that…”

One of my favorite examples was when my sister-in-law Aubrey asked me to come over and document the bedtime routine of my 11-month-old niece, Pearl. She said to me, “it seems like she is changing every day and I just want to remember these moments because I know everything is going to be different in a couple of months.” So we filmed that afternoon. A walk to the park, riding on daddy’s shoulders, playing with the kitten, eating spaghetti, washing off the spaghetti, reading her favorite book, drinking her bottle and drifting to sleep.
It was just another typical night, but now months and months later as I re-watch the video (click here to watch), I am
completely in awe with how much has changed!
(just sipping that wine, ya know?)
